About the High School
St. Lawrence Central High School educates students in the grades 9 - 12 in the Brasher Falls Central School District. Our school has an enrollment of nearly 350 students. Our students are able to choose from a variety of diploma types including Advanced Regents, Regents, and Career and Technical Endorsement. Many of our students pursue the multiple dual enrollments opportunities offered and graduate with college credits.
St. Lawrence Central High School is committed to providing the best possible education to our students in pursuit of the Common Core Learning Standards. Our core curriculum for both ELA and math continues to be the New York State Common Core Curriculum in a form adapted to meet our students' diverse needs.
Educational support in our building is provided by the following:
Content teachers during AIS and Activity Period
Title I AIS teaching assistants
One shared speech teacher
One shared counselor
Two Guidance Counselors
Our building runs on a six day cycle. This cycle is in coordination with St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES such that days where school is canceled still count as a day in our cycle. You may view your child's schedule through the parent portal on SchoolTool.
St. Lawrence Central High School also partners with the Liberty Partnership Program and Impetus from Clarkson University to provide enrichment as well as to support the success of our students.
